Module Overview

The kiosk module is designed for self-service environments where organizations operate extended hours or have remote sites without a dedicated tool crib operator. It supports both barcode scanners and RFID readers allowing tradespeople to quickly access inventory, check quantities, and locate stored tools. Users can also view safety documentation, attached links, and service history for each tool or piece of equipment.

With customizable settings, the kiosk integrates with ToolHound systems. Users can configure the site address, transaction credentials, and stocking location. Additional options include requiring a PIN code for access, enabling an on-screen keyboard, and setting a countdown timer for automatic logout. This solution bolsters efficiency and accessibility for managing tools and equipment in the field.
